A very interesting story began in 1847 when Philip Morris commenced selling tobacco and made-up smokes in a tiny shop at Bond Street in London. The year 1919 was quite a serious year for the company for the reason that experienced some crests and troughs in the ownership but in the next decade, things settled as the business commenced making smokes in Richmond, Virginia and that was where the world known brand, Marlboro, came out. The name, Red & White is rather an uncommon name for a tobacco trademark, but it was named remembering that it would be good for people to remember and that the color means excellence and felicity respectively. Not only the title of the smoke was unique but also the flavour was a rare one. The main motive of its success also refers to its other worldly flavour which uncovers the senses of the person who smokes.
